AOII encourages all members to excel academically and has many programs designed to assist women in achieving their academic goals. Expectations are high but the support provided by scholarship programs, academic development officer resources, and fellow members makes success attainable.

Letter from the President

Welcome to the Omicron Pi Chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi at the University of Michigan! My name is Nikki Hallacy and I’d like to extend a welcome to you and invite you to take a look around and learn about the sisters of this fraternity. We take pride in our involvement on campus, dedication to living our ritual each day, and our strong sisterhood.

Alpha Omicron Pi was founded in 1897 and was brought back to the University of Michigan in 2016. Since the installation of this chapter, I have seen it grow and I have seen my sisters grow with it. Chartering a chapter and growing it from the ground up is no easy task, but I have seen the sisters of the Omicron Pi Chapter rise to the occasion and make this chapter flourish. We are very excited to be a part of the Michigan Panhellenic Community!

The sisters of Alpha Omicron Pi are very passionate about everything we do. Whether it is supporting our philanthropy, participating in Greek events, or pursuing our academics, we are ambitious in every aspect of our lives and we push each other to be the best possible. We strive every day to live out AOII’s tagline “Inspire Ambition.”

These women have pushed me to be better than what I thought my best was. They have supported me through thick and thin and have lifted me up when I could not stand alone. They continue to challenge me to reach higher and to be the best I can be. I credit my success in college to the support of my sisters.

If you have any other questions about our national fraternity, I encourage you to check out www.alphaomicronpi.org. Any questions about our chapter can be directed to aoiimichigan@gmail.com or to me personally at aoii.um.cp@gmail.com.

I am honored to be leading the chapter as Omicron Pi’s President and I am so excited to work with our Leader’s Council to achieve great things this year!
